A personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to support hair and scalp wellness
Healthy hair starts from within. This programme is designed to address the internal factors that influence hair growth and scalp vitality — from nutrient status and circulation to stress balance and overall wellbeing.
As a Registered Dietitian (BDA/HCPC), Nutritional Therapist (BANT), and Clinical Herbalist (MSc), I bring together evidence-based nutrition and, when appropriate, herbal or supplement support to create a truly integrative approach to hair and scalp care.
Why I Created This Programme
When I first noticed early signs of a receding hairline, I applied the same integrative approach I use with my clients — combining targeted nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, and carefully selected botanicals to support my scalp and hair health naturally.
This personal experience, together with my academic research, shaped the foundation of this programme.
My MSc dissertation focused on men’s hair loss, exploring the evidence behind nutritional and botanical interventions to support scalp and follicle health. The research reviewed and evaluated the available scientific evidence in depth, ensuring that every recommendation within this programme is grounded in current research and clinical practice.
How It Works
We start with a comprehensive assessment to understand your nutrient intake, lifestyle, and any contributing factors such as stress or hormonal influences.
You’ll receive a personalised nutrition and supplement plan designed to optimise your hair’s internal environment and support your overall wellbeing.
Blood testing may be used to identify deficiencies in nutrients such as iron, zinc, vitamin D, B12, folate, and other markers that can influence hair function.
It typically takes a minimum of three months to begin observing meaningful changes in hair and scalp health, as this reflects both the natural hair growth cycle and the time required to correct nutritional imbalances.
Who It’s For
This programme is ideal if you:
- Have noticed early signs of hair thinning or reduced density
- Want to address underlying nutritional or lifestyle factors affecting hair health
- Prefer a professional, evidence-based plan tailored to your needs
- Value a natural, holistic approach integrating nutrition and wellbeing
Post-Transplant Hair Support Programme
The months following a hair transplant are a critical period in which the body must recover from surgery, support tissue repair, and create the right conditions for long-term follicle health. A structured nutritional and integrative approach during this time can help optimise recovery and support the transplanted follicles as they settle and mature.
My post-transplant hair support programme combines personalised nutrition with targeted integrative support, where appropriate, and is designed to work alongside medical and surgical care. The focus is on physiology, recovery, and sustainability rather than quick fixes.
A phased approach to post-transplant support
This programme is typically structured into two consecutive phases of approximately 3 months each, reflecting the different biological priorities during recovery.
Phase 1 – Recovery and Stabilisation (Months 0–3)
The first phase focuses on supporting the body during the immediate post-transplant period.
Key goals include:
- Supporting tissue repair and wound healing
- Managing local and systemic inflammation
- Providing adequate nutritional support for recovery
- Creating a stable internal environment for follicle anchoring and early adaptation
During this phase, the approach is deliberately cautious and supportive. Interventions are kept simple, well-tolerated, and tailored to the individual’s recovery timeline.
Phase 2 – Long-Term Support and Consolidation (Months 3–6)
Once the initial recovery phase has passed, the focus shifts towards longer-term follicle health and maintenance.
Key goals may include:
- Supporting scalp microcirculation
- Optimising nutrient availability for hair growth
- Addressing underlying nutritional or metabolic factors that may affect hair health
- Building a sustainable strategy to support results over time
This phase allows for a broader, more comprehensive approach, always adapted to the individual’s response and needs.
